From Classroom to Coaching: Why I Do This Work
For over two decades, I taught high school English and saw brilliant students struggle to capture their voices on the page. I knew they were capable, but the pressure of college essays often left them doubting themselves.
My turning point came when a student, after weeks of rewriting, looked up and said: “This sounds like me. For the first time, I believe I belong in college.” That moment changed everything for me.
Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to helping students transform anxiety into clarity. With a PhD in American Studies and years of classroom experience, I blend proven writing strategies with personalized coaching. My goal is simple: to help students write with authenticity, apply with confidence, and open doors to the opportunities they deserve.
