What coaching is actually for

Strong applications don’t persuade by sounding impressive.
They persuade by sounding situated—grounded in the work, the limits, and the opportunity.

Coaching here is designed for applicants who are ready to make that shift.

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I start coaching?

Earlier is always better, but it’s never too late to improve an essay. If you’re inside 7 days of a deadline, choose the Rush 48-hour review add-on.

Do you write essays for students?

No. I coach and edit so the work remains authentic and ethical. I help you clarify ideas, structure your story, and strengthen language while preserving your voice.

What happens in each session?

We align on goals, map an outline or revision plan, and work through targeted feedback. You’ll leave with clear next steps and dates for check-ins.

How do you review drafts?

Via Google Docs with comments and suggested edits. You’ll receive specific examples to model and a prioritized list of changes.

Can you help with supplements or a Grad SOP?

Yes—use the Additional supplemental essay add-on for colleges or the Graduate SOP add-on for master’s/doctoral programs.

Do you meet with parents?

Short parent check-ins are welcome for logistics. Coaching time is focused on the student so their voice leads the work.

What if I need to reschedule?

Rescheduling is easy with 24+ hours’ notice. Inside 24 hours, sessions count as used so I can honor other students’ time.
